CITOFlex rules in an overview

Wald Bevel Configurator
Which cutting bevel should we use?
Here is the answer!

Types of cutting bevels

C – Center Bevel
The most widely used cutting bevel for all common cardboard materials
S – Side Bevel
Ideal for use when processing gaskets, displays and closed shapes. The minimum counter bevel ensures right-angled, straight cuts.
F – Facette = Long Center Bevel
Usable with hard and thicker materials, e. g. corrugated board, plastics, glass-fibre reinforced laminates, leather, cork, rubber, puzzles etc.
SF – Side Facette Bevel = Long Side Bevel
Suitable for straight, right-angled cuts as well as for less penetration of the material

Types of cutting bevel finish

Shaved bevel
Standard type, stands out due to its excellent bending qualities and exact rule height
Ground bevel
Sharper edge ensures neat and precise cutting edges; suitable for thicker and more difficult tough materials, e. g. plastics, rubber, laminates and coated materials; less cutting dust, less cutting pressure due to reduced resistance, excellent bendability, smooth and rounded transition from edge to body

Types of cutting angle

CITOFlex cutting rules are available in cutting angles of 42° and 54° +0°/-2°.

Forms of delivery

CITOFlex cutting rules are available in one metre lengths and coils.
