Punching tubes

You should use punches where you can not use anymore rule pieces because of the small size ort he accuracy of the holes. Punches are produced of high carbon steel on automatic lathes and later heat treated.

26-F-05.0

The type "F" (= side ejection)
This type is used always when the waste should not stick into the material after cutting. It should fall out on the side of the die so you will use it most in hand platen machines. You can get it only with outside bevel, of course!
Sizes from 2.0mm to 10.0mm punch-diameter available

26-J-03.0

The type "J" is today the most common type in industrial die cutting. So it is used on dies for Auto platen machines only.
Attention! On varnished surfaces of the card board it could happen that the waste will stick into the punch and can damage the punch immediately.
Sizes from 2.0mm to 15.0mm punch-diameter available

26-I-05.0

The punches of Type "I" are used in addition to the "J" type, as they are used always if there is not enough space between the hole and another part of the die like a cutting rule or a creasing rule or another punch. Also you will use it when your customer wants an absolute vertical cutting edge.
Attention! On small diameters and thick substrate it could happen very fast, that the waste will make the punch bursting.
